Description
Anyone who has an Ender 5 Plus knows there's a lot of dead space at the bottom, between the side rails and the electronics box. But you can't use it… anything small that you lay down there ends up hidden under the electronics box or the 2020/2040 rails.
So I designed these trays to fit into the front part of that space, from just in front of the Z steppers to the front rail with a notch to go around the Z rod base on each side. I printed the one in the picture (and it's mate which I didn't bother to photograph) using standard PLA at 0.2 layer height; I set the wall count and top/bottom layers high enough that there is effectively no infill. The result is still slightly flimsy, but it's just a tray for tools, filament clips, and so on, and they work just fine for that purpose.
