Danalock V3 adapter and spacers for euro cylinder lock

When moving houses, I took my Danalock V3 Scandi version with me but could not use it because the new house had a Euro cylinder lock. I went to the Danalock dealer to check if they had an adapter, but they said I would need a special euro cylinder that is compatible with the Danalock and some adapter kit that cost over half of what a new Danalock would cost. So I decided to solve the problem myself using my 3D printer.

This solution works for euro cylinders that have knobs that can be removed and have a circular axle diameter of 8mm. The screw holes also need to fit with the original Danalock mounting plate (not sure if those screw positions are standard for Euro cylinder locks). See photos:

Instructions

1. Print the two parts. The spacer needs to be scaled in the z-axis to the same thickness as the cylinder sticks out of the door.
2. File the cylinder axle a bit on one edge so the keyed insert fits on it and then fit it to the cylinder.
   
3. Add the spacers
   
4. Screw the danalock mounting plate on top of the spacers:
   
5. And finally, mount the lock. Take care to orient the knob so the insert keying fits into the Danalock.
