I recently experimented with the Octogram Spiral Fill Pattern and thought it would make a nice effect on an octogonal star - and it does!
There are 4 sizes from 30 mm to 80 mm.
Tipps
- Use one of the “Assortiment" files to get various sizes.
- Use the .gcode files or .3mf files for easy handling (parameters all set)
- If using the .stl files
- Set top and bottom fill pattern to “Octagram Spiral”
- Under Print Settings → Infill → Infill
- Reduce vertical shells to 2, so there is more space for the octogram spiral pattern
- Might also reduce horizontal shells to increase speed
- Both under Print Settings → Layers and perimeters
