Description
The Rogue Fitness Westside Bench is one monster of a bench rack… but it has no weight storage! Sure, you could spend $30-$55 per peg from Rogue (not including shipping & tax)… or you could print a pair with hardware for less than $10.
This 5.5" weight peg strikes a balance between length, strength, and cost. It easily holds a couple 10's, 5's, and 2.5's; exactly what you want to have on hand in-between sets of bench.
The holes in the base-plate are 4" apart on center to fit the bottom of the front uprights. Each peg needs two 5/8" x 3" bolts and two nuts.
The holes in the base-plate can be quite snug so it's encouraged to thread the bolt in and out of the holes once before install to break in the plastic. Additionally, there isn't enough room for the nut to turn so hold the nut in place and thread the bolt into the nut. You can use your own washers, however the provided washer model spaces it so the end of the bolt is flush with the nut.
I highly recommend printing the weight peg horizontally with supports. This is the strongest print orientation and eliminates the weight sitting along any one layer line.
