Description
This lamp has 6 printed parts and can be printed on a Prusa Mini. Some soldering is involved and you will need a high power led and some other parts that have to be bought.
Soldering the wires to the LED might be tricky. The LED sits on aluminum (for cooling the led during use) which means that you have to put a lot of heat into the soldering. Use a third hand to avoid burning ;).
The led is sensitive for undercurrent. It works fine with two AA batteries (3 V), but if you use rechargeable batteries (2,4 V) it will only shine faintly. I will make a next version of the lamp with a holder for three batteries and a resistor so rechargeable batteries can be used.
A lens is not needed but looks much better. So if you have some transparent filament print one! You can also use the lens to personalize your lamp. The FreeCAD files are already prepared to put some text on the lens.
Click subtitles for English.
If you like the lamp but don't know how to make it, you might order it from my website mariomaakt.nl.
All print files are for PLA.
