Description
A while back I started collecting steelbook movies. I found a designer online that had created an excellent wall mount for the steel shells.
In a perfect world, this would have been enough but like many my walls are not perfect flat so I added a 3rd magnet mount at the base of the original model. I also wanted to protect my steelbooks so I began purchasing the protective sleeves which rendered the original mount unusable. The original design was too narrow and the edges rounded to match the curve of the steelbooks. This model has increased the X-axis while also squaring the edges to tightly hug the steels and their cover. In addition the Z-axis was expanded slightly as well to account for the extra depth of the covered steelbooks. The added magnet was especially useful here with the extra thickness said covers add. I would not use this model without protective sleeves on your steel as the additional spacing for the cover is very noticeable without them.
The steelbook sleeves I use can be seen here.

The design uses three 10mm x 2mm neodymium magnets per print which I usually purchase from ebay or aliexpress or wherever.
This doesn't need supports nor a brim. I use loctite superglue to keep the magnets in place and it hasn't failed me yet.
I have also printed these on my resin printer without any supports. Literally just align it so the bottom of the mount is flat on the build plate and I can print 6 at a time, should you choose.
