Description
I like side-cut can openers. Unfortunately, the turning knob on the one I bought wasn't very strong. I made this new design that has worked well for me. Printed in PETG with a 0.4 or 0.6mm nozzle with 0.2 or 0.3mm layers respectively. The perimeter & top/bottom thickness is 2 or 3mm. I don't remember what infill% I used but, it was probably around 20%. I usually don't use high% infills for most of what I print because I've noticed that it's the perimeter thickness that seems to affect the strength of a part the most. It's designed to slip over a 10mm hex nut with a depth of 9.5mm. If you need a different size, I've included the SLDPRT file for you.
