Spaceshuttle 3D Cookie Cutter

Description

Make space themed cookies with this cutter for “3D” spaceshuttle cookies!

Best suited for this are good old ‘Mürbeteig’ cookies (see recipe below), as they are called in Germany. Make equal amounts from both parts and slot them together after baking, when they are cooled down.

Make sure that the cookies are not thicker then the slots at the bottom of each part or they won't fit together.

Printing

I printed both parts with 0.2mm layer height and all solid layers. I also choose 0.8mm perimeter width so the cutting part is basically just one thick line. I did this for time saving reasons alone, you can of course just go with your standard values for layer height and perimeter width. But my parts turned out great and are very sturdy.

You can also print both parts in vase mode, but in this case make sure to use about 0.8mm perimeter width or else the cutting edge will be too thin and not ridgid enough. But 0.8mm perimeters is no problem on a 0.4mm nozzle, especially in vase mode.

Make sure to scale both parts equally when printing them smaller or larger.
