Maker badge case
You can choose from multiple versions:
- sMakerBadge-case: Big battery compartment (no additional dividers)
- MakerBadge-case-SmallBat: has a small battery compartment so Original Li-Po battery fits here and is nicely protected (20x30mm space). Remaining space can be utilized for some fun circuits.
Changes in remix
Original model served well as an inspiration and for a basic shape.
- compartments arrangement
- ability to run wires underneath and add some electronics (like accelerometer)
- better notch to hold PCB (without supports)
- protrusion that protects display from accidental side-smash
Options for modules
I plan to make another slightly adjusted version, that would allow adding a connector to the bottom side and snap-connect extension modules.
Print
- any solid material you want (PLA, PETG) in about 1h.
- Supports are needed in the top section where the strap goes. I used snug detachable supports in Prusaslicer. Whole area does not need to be selected, the part indicated in blue is enough. I used paint-on-supports with triangles option.
- I adjusted the infill pattern angle to 90° so it bridges only a the short distance.
