# Portable Soldering Station

Designed to be run with a Makita LXT 18V battery underneath, although with the modularity of the design you could
integrate anything as long as the mounting points are compatible.

In addition to providing general soldering storage and facilities which can be observed in the included images, it
also breaks out power into a variety of different connectors for the sake of flexibility. Primarily intended to be run
with the TS100/TS80 soldering irons.

It was also meant to be put together entirely by M3 bolts, I forget which lengths. There are 7 knurled M3 inserts that
should be about 5mm wide and 5mm high. For the solder roll I used a M8x50 bolt with nuts on either side of each of the
walls to ensure that the 'H' frame stays rigid and the bolt doesn't bend in the thinner wall when tightened.

Everything was design in Autodesk Fusion 360.

For printing I just made everything 50% Gyroidial infill, with ESUN PLA+. Did a bunch of pretty serious drop and smash 
tests with early iterations and the unit held up pretty damn well.

I got the makita mount from somewhere a while back but cant seem to find the link. If anyone knows please leave a comment or message me, I will be happy to link to that persons project once its found out.

 I just had one rectangular piece I could slide inside the main lower enclosure.
