Description
Ultra-minimal version of a hard drive adapter.
Ultra-fast print time: 15 minute model print time on X1C with stock settings
Ultra-minimal filament usage: 8g filament, Bambu Slicer with stock settings.
Ultra-slim height: As low-profile as possible to prevent height interference and maximize airflow.
These models have exact SATA/SAS connector alignment. However, this model requires that your caddy has "2.5 inch HDD" holes on the on the right side. This includes most caddy systems from Supermicro and Microserver. Others brands may also be compatible.
A more sturdy L-shaped version is included, but shouldn't typically be needed since the caddy frame will provide most of the rigidity.
If you have fans for your hard drives, then even basic PLA will stay cool enough to never deform. For nightmare scenarios where your drive(s) frequent temperatures above 55c, consider a filament with a higher glass transition temperature such as PETG. When in doubt, check your filament's material specifications to ensure it has enough heat resistance for drive(s) peak temperature.
