The winter solstice period has been a celebration of renewal since the dawn of mankind. Let's not let the christians appropriate it with their own tales! There are many better stories.
Celebrate the renewal of the sun, the unrestrained and senseless spending or anything you like.
This is an easy print, requires no support. Some assembly required.
You will need:
- -PLA (gold, silver, red) - or spraypaint and some shitty painting skill (like mine)
- -Superglue
- Print the parts in the colour you prefer, or one colour all, than paint. Or not.
- Assemble the ball like in the picture.
- Find the ring with outer cutouts only.
- Face the cutouts with one and two dots.
- Find the ring with inner and outer cutouts, and mach the two dots.
- Put on the third ring, matchint the one dot.
- Use superglue in the joints. Paint it gold after this step. (if you did not heve color filament.)
- Put the base, matching the dot on the base with the dots on the rings. (Like on the picture)
- Paint the ball red, than join it on one whirl with superglue.
- Paint the "A" silver
- Put it in the middle - tight fit, but use glue if you feel it loose. (If you paint it thick, you certainly wont need glue.)
