Description

These parts are for a vertical 10 row Jagg oil cooler fan assisted for Harley Davidson. They fit for a cooler system for Dyna 91-17, 55-83 Big Twin, 82-94 FXR, 84-20 Softail, 84-16 FLT/Touring, 86-20 Sportster.

To protect the cooler from stones etc. I created a protection and some mounts so that it doesn't touch the cooler itself (for temperature and cooler damage reasons). There is a distance of 2-3mm between oil cooler and protection all around.

I printed the protection in Nylon PA12+CF15. The material is very shock-resistant and also temperatur resistant (>150°C). If you use other materials check the temperature properties. In my opinion material should be stable for a minimum of 110-120°C. So don't use PLA :-)

Files:

  • I have added some knobs depending on your printer settings and variations.
  • I have also added a 3mf file with the settings for PA12+CF15 (0,25 layer)

Annotation:
For the reason that it is a winter project, I haven't tested it yet based on the temperatures outside :-( . But I have created some other parts with that material for my bikes and the other parts work really well.
