Description
Sticking this model to metallic surfaces is endlessly entertaining. The surface design gives it a very unique feel, and the head is weighted perfectly. The sides of the hammer are designed with space for a name or decal to be modelled in. Printing the head can be a big pain, though, because it is designed to have the magnets inserted while printing.
Parts:
The hammer head uses magnets that are 10mm x 10mm x 3.5mm or smaller. I used 10mm x 10mm x 3mm ones.
Printing:
This is the tricky part. There are five slots inside the head for magnets to be inserted during printing. You will have to stop the print after the slot is big enough (You can use the scheduled stop feature in PrusaSlicer), put the magnet in, and resume printing. Use extreme care, because the magnet could stick to the heating element on the extruder. I recommend only putting magnets into the ends of the hammer. The other three slots are for crazy people.
Assembly:
Should be self-explanatory. The handle should tightly fit into the head, and the process will require some force, but no sanding should be required; refer to the provided pictures for clarification.
Note:
Some of the pictures were rendered with a degree of artistic freedom. Do not expect your print to match these descriptions.
