Platonic solids (Christmas Edition)

For a simple, geometric look of the Christmas tree : a set of platonic solids, modified in order to be hanged. A small hole is punched in a corner, large enough for a piece of string or preferably fishing line for a transparent ''assembly''. Beveled center-lines were added for a little bit of decoration.
Printed with wood filament, going sand a bit and stain them.

Notes:

Since the project was intended for wood filament, the objects were designed with 0.2mm layer in mind, simple geometry (especially for the recessed lines) and no supports required. Finer layer heights are possible and recommended if printed with standard PLA as it will result in a nicer finish.
Sliced in Slic3r Prusa edition with ColorFabb Woodfill preset, 3 perimeters and all the speeds set to 50mm/s.
