Description
Instant party, after a couple hours of printing
Print the two arms and one of the main parts, 3 perimeters with 10% infill works well, less might work. I've been using PLA because I have the colors I want but any should work.
I use some clear PETG for the “pin”, you can glue but I just mushroom the top side with a bit of heat and it holds up OK. In the cover photo, I used black sharpie to darken the text connectors.
NOTE: If you have trouble getting the filament in the holes, heat the area around the hole with lighter or match slightly to soften, run the room temp filament pin through and blow air on it to cool to size. I've assembled a bunch of these and used this trick on many of them. This was sized by the upstream model to assume very well tuned (dimensionally) printer.
Thanks to @zzzy for the ‘parametric frame for glasses starting from lens STL' this was remixed from.
FYI: Sample pair printed in 1 hr 29 min
Update: Added Pixelboy and Sansite Swashed fonts
