Description
I've made several spool stands with a 3D printer so far.
They distorted and bent over time.
With my own design technology, it was difficult to achieve sufficient strength with PETG alone.
I made a strong spool stand reinforced with metal.
It's been over a year since I made it. No distortion or tilt.
The parts used are as follows.
pillar : PETG infill 20% 1pcs
hub left : PETG infill 20% 1pcs
hub right : PETG infill 20% 1pcs
washer: PETG infill 20% 5pcs
Reinforcement iron plate: 18mmW*150mmL
shaft :M7 long bolt length 120mm
Nylon nut : M7 3pcs
Flat washer:M7 1pcs
Spring washer : 1pcs
Bis :M3 20mm 5pcs
Bis :M5 12mm 2pcs
V-groove nut: M5 2pcs
The iron plate used for reinforcement is a commercially available product.
Only the hole through which the shaft passes was enlarged to a diameter of 8 mm.
Other holes were pre-drilled.
