Description
I made these three "Custom First Layer Calibration Squares" to help you dial in your perfect first layer. When printed properly they will come out as a solid single sheet of plastic. Its a fast easy print!
.20mm Layer Height Single Layer
75mm x 75mm x .20mm 13 Minutes
50mm x 50mm x .20mm 6 Minutes
25mm x 25mm x .20mm 2 Minutes
The Provided Gcode is for PLA!
I use these often when changing nozzles or changing filament types. Or bed leveling!
I use the 13 Minute 75mm to start then adjust the Live Z as its printing. Then I write down information on it afterwords. I then use the smaller ones to do quick print tests.
I am including the Blender, .STL, Slicer, and Gcode. You can easily then Slice your own Squares for different filament types.
I used Hatchbox orange and they look like Cheeze slices HAHA.
Its simple fast and provides much more visual information than the Prusa Layer calibration test. Thanks for checking out my work and Print ON!
Thanks to Billy Ruben for providing this excellent visual guide for bed leveling and layer calibration.
