Description
This is a blank plate that mounts from inside the printer's electronics compartment that gives a mounting point for a phone mount (Nexus 5x), which I use with Klipperscreen. I'm posting it because its a nice foundation to mount whatever you want, though the mounting holes I just sorta lined up with the STL in FreeCAD, so they are not a nice clean number. I'll work on a spec for it later.
I left some slots in it to for airflow, to help prevent the phone I'm mounting on it from overheating.
The mount I used this with:

Again, this plate should be adaptable to other things you might want to mount (like a different phone).
I used the stock LCD screws, and 4 8mm M3 capheads. You may want a lower profile screwhead, but it fit fine for me as is. If it were my brand new phone and not one out of the junkdrawer, I'd probably take the time to get some lower profile scews. I also used 5mm long (they are actually less than 5mm in practice) threaded inserts (4 of them).
6mm M3 did reach the threaded inserts, and if you went longer, it'd protrude into empty space. So, if you don't have 8mm M3 screws, use what you've got and it should be fine as long as they are not so long that they snag wires or jab the printer's mainboard.
*I got some of the screwhole positions wrong, but its okay.*
As you'll see in one of the photos, I did have to modify the print after printing. I also had to sand away some of the supports, because I used superslicer's less than perfect supports (Klipper gcode support, have not gotten around to making it work well with Cura).
I may go in and modify the file, but since everyone has side-cutters already, and nobody will ever see it except you and I, I'll probably leave it as is.
Included is the FreeCAD file.
