Description

This design is an add-on in order to create a wall mount which includes sufficient room for the external power cable.

The original wall mount frame is bolted to the printed part using m3 bolts.

Requirements:

  • Plugwise Lisa Thermosstat
  • Standard (dutch) wall recess (inbouwdoos, Attema inbouwdoos or similar), distance between screws 61 mm
  • 2 Short m3 bolts with nuts and washers for connecting the original wall mount to the print. (think m3x8 should be sufficient)
  • 3 Long m3 bolts/screws for mounting the printed part to your wall. Required distance may vary depending whether your “inbouwdoos”

Print instructions:

  • Designed wall thickness is 2.0 mm, make sure that the perimeter is filled. Ideally set your slicer to create a wall thickness of 0.5 mm.
  • Support may be required as there is an unsupported horizontal part in the print. This part is not visible after installation, you may not need a support depending on your printer.

Procedure:

  1. Bolt the Plugwise Lisa standard wall mount to your printed part using the m3x8 bolts
  2. Do not put the Thermostat on the wall mount, but perform a test fit to the wall first. Adjust the screws to the “inbouwdoos” until you are still able to remove the assembled wall mount without adjusting the screws.
  3. Remove the wall mount assembly from your wall, slide the Lisa in place and attach the USB power cable.
  4. Slide the complete set on the adjusted screws of your “inbouwdoos"
  5. Connect the USB cable to your power brick.

Note that this design is made by me in 2020 and shared after multiple requests. Other than using Plugwise equipment in my own home, I have no connection to this company.
