The Complete Prusa MINI+ Holiday Overlay!

A few of these parts will need support material, look in the notes below each file to find which ones.

Merry Christmas, everyone! 

Ever thought your Prusa MINI+ felt a bit un-festive? Well with these aesthetic upgrades, you can spice up your printer with some holiday cheer!

These models are divided into 8 sections, each signifying a different part of the printer. This should make it easy to find the files you need. Each section will include a fully-assembled version of the parts to show how it is meant to fit together.

For parts that require supports, keep in mind that the surface touching the support material wont look as good as the surfaces that aren't.

You will likely not be able to remove the nuts from the X-Axis cap, which has to be removed for this upgrade. so you will need an M3n nut and 2 M3nS square nuts. You will also need a small magnet. A 6mm OD x 3mm depth worked well for me. You will also need to remove the Display Cover and replace it with mine.

A couple of the parts need a color change added between the layers. These are the “DC Peppermint Pattern” and “DC Peppermint Knob” files. If you don't know how to do that, this tutorial may help: 

You will also need to take off the X-Axis end cap to make it gingerbread-colored. The best way is to remove the hotend assembly and then pull out the belts before unscrewing the end cap. A couple of parts may also need some kind of adhesive to attach them to the printer. a strong duct tape would work fine.

The project was printed using Overture PLA, I can tell you the names of the colors if you would like.

One last note: I already credited them in the “remixed from” section, but I used Anderangle's gummi bear model quite extensively, so huge thanks to them!
