I saw someone post this on twitter https://yellowcartgo.us/products/book-page-holder and since I'm too poor to order anything I drew up a quick model in blender. (the link seems to have been broken for years but I'll keep this here for reference)

Made two sizes. However the thumb hole for both is ~28mm I'll include the blender file for anyone who wants to fiddle with it.

You might even get away with printing it with almost no infill if you set for like 4 walls and printer can bridge. Don't quote me on that though.
