Need 2 * m4 14mm hex socket button screws. 2 * Bearing, 608zz (8x22x7) If you decide to put bearing on it, not required.

I just want to make something that look like generic filament holder.

It took me many hours to design and try in errors. It is hard to find a correct clearances for the fitting and roller. Roller shell is free rotate around the rod, and create some firction where enough to hold the filament stop it from free rolling, but not create noise.

It is a bit hard to instiall, you need to run the m4 scew on the base, cap, and both side of the rod. Require some force to get the job done.

It will works with PLA, but if you want to use it long term, please use PETG, ABS, PC, Carbon fiber, and etc.

If you don't have bearing on hand, thats okay. Without bearling will works as good as with the bearling one.

I suggest do 3 prints. As shown: No support is required, But you need to add brim for the second and third print. Thrid print is a bit hard, expecting to see it fail, try print with 40mm to 50mm speed.

If you have any question, problem. Leave it on comment, I will try to help ya as much as I can. Happy printing and Peace.

I will upload a guide video later.
