Description
Aalto-malja or Aalto vase, finnish design classic, Aalto meaning wave and is the last name of the finnish couple who has designed this model in 1936.
We have this tradition, every year we print some fun vases, put candy on them and give to friends and family. This year we were in hurry, because f*ck planning and schedules, just forget everything and panic, so we didn't have anything readily picked and didn't find what we liked in, like, 5 minutes, so I made this. And now I put it here, so you can make it too.
We printed these with cheap PLA and 0.8 nozzle, 2 layers on the bottom, and these toke something like 1 hour and 24mins each. Nice and sturdy. And people loved it!
Oh, if you don't want to use vase mode, just pick the preferable amount of bottom layers, perimeters, no infill and no top layers and you get nice vase that way, printed “normally” and with more perimeters than in vase mode.
