Description
A sliding hard drive rail for 3.5" drives. This is an extended length version designed for primarily for shucked disks which only have 2 instead of the typical 3 screw holes on either side. The rails which are included with the cases I tested don't work for these hard drives which have missing screw holes.
I've personally tested the design by fitting it to these PC cases:
It's a standard design so will likely fit more cases manufactured in China during the same time period.
Printing tips:
My usual print settings involve a skirt or brim (with a 0.6mm gap). Print the model in the same way it's downloaded with supports for the two pegs which insert into the side of the hard drive. If you're using a brim in Cura then as a bonus you can add support brims, this helps to stop them coming unstuck.
