organic spiky dragon egg

Introducing my rendition of the dragon egg.

A spikey organic looking egg sculpted by hand in blender. 

I made 2 versions. 1 version is just the solid egg if youre just looking for a pretty decorative egg. The other version is the egg divided into a bottom part and a top lid to use as a container.
The lid just sits on top as the interlocking spikes prevented any sort of scewing or clicking and I didn't want to just cut it straight in half and end up with a seam. If this is something people would like i could still make this so please feel free to request.

Printing:

The solid egg and the bottom part aren't hard to print, i used supports for the lowest spikes as  they overhang just a bit too much but other than that they print very easily.

The top lid however is a bit of a more challenging print as they start on only sharp spikes. Therefor they will have to be sufficiently supported. I had trouble with the supports generated by cura for some reason but supports generated by prucaslicer worked without any trouble.
