Easy Wood Lathe Tool Holder

Originally made to hold my mid sized Easy Wood tools, I modifed the design to hold the pro sized hollower I recieved as a gift.

The block measures 2.68” X 2.43” X 2.5” (68.1mm X 61.7mm X 63.5mm)

• A loose slip fit dovetail joint allows the blocks to be linked together. 
• (2) countersunk holes are provided for #8 wood screws to secure the block to a solid surface. 

I was only able to test the holders on the tools I own.  I have listed some key dimensions to compare against your Easy Wood tools.  The max handle diameter is important because it determines the hollow form the tool nests in.

Mid sized block for Easy Wood Mid sized tools:

The block can accommodate a 3/8” (9.5mm) square tool bar and 7/8” (22.2mm) diameter ferrule. The max handle diameter closest to the ferrule is approx. 1.7" (43.2mm)

I have verified the block works with Easy Wood Mid Sized Rougher, Finisher, Detailer and Parting tool.

Pro sized block for some Easy Wood Pro sized tools.

The block can accommodate a 1/2” X 3/4” (12.7mm X 19mm) tool bar and a 1 1/8” (28.6mm) diameter ferrule. The max handle diameter closest to the ferrule is approx. 1.9” (48.3mm)

I have verified the block works with Easy Wood Pro sized #1 Easy Hollower. 

(I don’t believe the #2 and #3 hollowers will fit easily due to their tool bar size.  Other Pro sized tools may fit, but I couldn’t verify this.)

I printed these in PETG with 4 perimeters and 10% adaptive cubic infill.
