Description
This rocket model was carefully crafted using OpenRocket, ensuring precision down to 0.1 gram in weight measurements. It has undergone just a single test flight, yet it demonstrated impeccable flight stability, shooting straight up. Simulation data predicts a maximum flight altitude of around 414 feet at apogee.
Designed specifically for a 0.6mm nozzle, performance might differ with other nozzle sizes. The rocket's body is constructed with a 0.6mm thickness, while the nose cone features a thicker design at 1.2mm. It is compatible with the standard 1/8" launch rod. The provided G-Code file has been adjusted for a retraction length of 3.6mm to counteract the stringing issue observed with my 0.6mm nozzle. STL files are also available for those interested in adapting the design for a 0.4mm nozzle.
*UPDATE - Having launched four of these rockets, each flight was consistently successful, achieving perfect results every time.
