Two Piece Jiffy Plant Holder for Modular Hydroponic Tower

This is a replacement for the plant holder included in the Modular Hydroponic Tower Garden

by boundary condition. Some reviews indicate it is difficult to get the plants out and the holders should not be printed since it waists too much filament.

This design instead has a separate piece that holds the plant and is inserted into the main holder that screws into the tower. The filament used by this replaceable insert can be printed with about 26g of filament making it much cheaper by making the main insert reusable.

To assemble simply insert, turn till you find the tabs and the insert slides down the slots and twist. To make it too tight so you can remove them after.

I did have to play around bit by printing 1% larger or smaller the get a perfect fit in both the insert and the tower. For one of my printer the current sizes are perfect.

I print the holder in PETG and the insert in PLA making the insert even cheaper. I also used a clear PLA to reduce any chemicals I don't want.
