Bearing pulley

February 10, 2023
Description
So, i had to replace the 40 yo. pulley from the top of the mast of my boat and i decided to print one. I decided to make a bearing pulley so it would run smoother.
It has very tight tolerances so you have to break the gears free with a little bit of bending after printing!!!!!! It seems solid at first but will break free after a little bit of bending. The tolerances are really tight so the parts will not have a lot of play!
Also you need to import both parts at the same time inside the slicer.
The diameter of the groove for the cable/wire is 4mm!
Print settings:
Filament: XT-CF20
0.2mm layer height
Temp: Bed 90°C, Hotend 260°C (i used glue stick on the bed)
Max print volume: 8mm³/s
Fan speed: between 20%-50%
Support: yes, I printed it with the tree support funciton of my X1 Carbon and the overhangs look good and everything came off pretty well.
