This is my pin board originally posted on Thingiverse.  All parts printed at 0.2mm layer height and 4 walls. I designed a 0.18mm gap between all parts that fit together based on the tolerances of my printer and the filament I used. The size of the head 'frame' was limited by my print bed.

When printing the ear 'frames' they will require a small support due to a small overhang as part of the design.

When printing the head and ear 'meshes', use 13% gyroid infill. 13% seems to be the sweet-spot for the size of the individual pin diameters, and the gyroid pattern is what I have displayed in the accompanying photos. Ensure that you turn off printing the top and bottom layers in order to expose the infill which serves as the 'mesh' on which to mount the pins.

When assembling the 'frames', you're going to have to use a little superglue to keep it together. The 'meshes' should insert and sit snuggly in the frames, but you can superglue as you see fit.

I printed in plain black, but I'd love to see the different color schemes you design!
