Mechanical Iris - Gears & Rails

This is basically a doodle. There's no purpose to this, just something I slapped together for fun to experiment with drive systems and motion. Enjoy

printed fine with standard settings in Cura on a Lulzbot ta6. You'll need 7 of the spur gear, leaf, and rack.

to assemble:

1. place the drive gear on the base.
2. slide the racks into place
3. drop in the spur gears and test
4. snap on the leaves and test

1. remove leaves and adjust rack placement as necessary.
