Description
Hanging monitor mount for light or webcam. Designed to be used for lights or webcams with a clamp. This prevents the clamp from damaging the screen if you don't have a suitable monitor edge to clamp on to.
Played with several styles of clamp. Remix, hack, bodge, or adjust as you see fit!
Slim Mount V1.
This is a close in design and works well for a light or webcam that sits towards the rear of the monitor and that hangs most of its weight to the back. If the cam or light hangs forward of the monitor it will not balance very well. A little double sided tape or a 3M wall strip can be used to secure the mount to the back of the monitor if desired and you really want a tight in design.
This is designed for a thin monitor with a flat back. This design's “hook” is designed for a 8mm or less screen thickness.
40mm Wide Mount.
The hook is set back 40mm and I increased the lip of the hook to provide a little more surface to grab the monitor with.
Stealth Mount v1.
Sits low and back. 8mm hook to hang onto slim monitors. Designed for a flat back monitor.
Round v1.
Clamping surface sits back and high. A slight allowance for screens with a wider back cover. 8mm hook for slim monitors.
Leanback Slim v1
10mm hook to hang onto that monitor and an offset rear support leg to accommodate thicker monitors.
Support free prints. Feel free to suggest a modification if you'd like a different variant.
Happy Printing!
Remix as you see fit.
