Description
Inspired by topographic models of mountains I decided to create a topographic model of the Breath of The Wild map for my brother. I made this model in blender using a height map projected onto a plane before splitting it into six pieces for printing. Combined printing time was ~70 hrs of printing and ~800g of filament. Hand painted and clear coated before being mounted to a walnut and plywood frame I built for it with a french cleat wall mount. Printed with raw PLA, 0.15 layers, and 10% infill.
