Description

This palm-sized sanding block is designed to fit 3-2/3" x 9" (9.31cm x 22.8cm) sanding sheets from manufacturers like 3M, Craftsmen, Diablo, and Norton.

Getting Started

You will need the following non-included parts:

(1) - 1/4"-20 x 1" Hex Bolt
(1) - 1/4"-20 Hex Nut
(1) - 1/4" Flat Washer
(?) - Sanding Sheets!

You may need the following additional tools:

1/4"-20 tap set
C-Clamp or vise (for press fitting the caps into the base and knob)
Xacto Knife (for cleaning up small imperfections in prints)
WD-40 or White Lithium Grease (for lubricating threads of fasteners)
Gorilla Glue gel

Post-Printing

Assembly Instructions

Place the hex nut into the recess in the base.
Press fit the Retaining Nut Plug into the base, using a C-clamp or vise*
Press fit the 1/4"-20 bolt into the Knob.*
Press fit the Knob Cap into the top of the Knob using a C-clamp or vise
Feed a sanding sheet into the sheet on the leading edge of the base with the sheet facing down.
Wrap the sanding sheet base around under the base and back over the trailing edge.
Place the top on the base, place the washer in the recess on the top and thread the bolt down. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!
