Replace the cable with a plugit adapter. The change is reversible.
Needed:
- Festool replacement part # 489742
- two #6-32 x ½'' machine screws
To install:
- Mark which plugit adapter cable replace the black/white cable
- Remove the cable, strain relief and cable clamp
- Install the part using the existing clamp screws
- Trim the extra adapter cables by ~45mm to fit in the router
- Install the adapter, secure with screw
- Secure the cables to the terminal blocks.
