Fruit Bowl "Sweet Lemon"

March 21, 2023
Description
This fruit bowl comes in a modern design. The "Sweet Lemon" is the smallest one from my collection.
It is easy to print and easy to assemble. No screws, no glue required.
Why "Sweet"?
To give the fruit bowl more weight, I have added a print pause during which you can add sand (salt or sugar) to the base. Use whatever you have available.
Sand is best because it is heavier than salt or sugar. The base holds about 55g of sand or 45g of salt or 35g of sugar.
Why "Lemon"?
I have created three different sized fruit bowls. "Sweet Lemon" is the smallest variety. There is also "Salty Apple" (medium size) and “Sandy Melon” (the largest).
Check out all of them in this collection.

As described above, you can add material to the base during the break to increase its weight. Fill the material very carefully and not all the way to the top. Otherwise the printer fan will start a sandstorm as soon as you continue printing ;-)
- Layer height: 0.40mm (with 0.6mm nozzle), 0.20 (with 0.4mm nozzle)
Use Height Range Modifier in Prusa Slicer to define the above layer ranges. For description see Prusa 3D Help.
These infill variations save time and material. If you do not want to set them, use Grid 15% throughout.
Assembly
Simply insert the planks into the recesses provided in the base. Make sure you insert the right side. This is the one with the slightly larger distance to the ring hole.
If you like the rings, just use some filament for them.
I am looking forward to your Makes! :-)
The following filament was used in the pictures above:
- Extrudr Wood natur
- Extrudr PLA NX2 anthrazit
