Description
I needed a light in my 1 man ice shanty for night fishing. From a past project, I had 2 Amazon rock lights https://www.amazon.com/LY8-Underglow-Offroad-Underbody-Waterproof/dp/B08C9N5ZL7/ref=sr_1_29?crid=2NR436XKB2282&keywords=white%2Brock%2Blight&qid=1672774854&sprefix=white%2Brock%2Blight%2Caps%2C113&sr=8-29&th=1
You will need 2 of the above lights, their hardware, 2 bolts that are 1 inch long 6-32 (or m3 x 25mm) and 2 nylon locknuts for those bolts, and a small zip tie.
Print models as arranged to be support free, 30% gyroid infill with at least 2 walls. Print 2 of the light holders, and 1 bracket.
To assemble: Place light holders with the oval cutout on the opposite side of the brackets strain relief. Insert the 2 6-32 bolts through the light holders, securing the bracket. Adjust tightness so that it takes little pressure to move. Next thread the lights wire through the oval hole, then secure the light with the included hardware. Pull both wires under the bracket, and secure them with the cable tie.
I ended up using a barrel connector on mine to connect to a Milwaukee M12 power supply.
