Description
The Breville/Sage Precision Brewer has a wonderful Cold Brew mode that drains the basket after a certain amount of time. But have you ever tried pouring a bit more water into the grounds and holding the release valve open? You'll get a LOT more perfectly good concentrated coffee out of those grounds that isn't over extracted. But it takes a while for that bean juice to drain out, and holding the valve open with your hand defeats the whole point of having a machine to do this for you.
This device slots into the basket's valve and holds it open. Simply rest the basket over top your pitcher/carafe and rinse your grounds with some more water.
There are two handle lengths. The short one will comfortably rest on top of a glass Toddy carafe, but if your pitcher has a larger radius there's a longer version to more easily rest the basket without risking it tipping. I also printed a small hook and hang this gadget on the side of my Fellow Ode grinder (the long version is still short enough to hang here).
