ABOUT:
TLDR: I've been using these for three years now still going strong through rain snow and heat. Use metal zip-ties for added security and now the stupid quick release lever isn't in the way. enjoy!
This Is Hanger set designed for the Burley Paneer Set, the original hangars have quick releases that can prevent the mounting of a top rack bag which reduces the usability of these pouches when bikepacking or touring. I designed these to be sturdy and to hopefully take a beating. Use at your own risk this is a critical component, and I would recommend bringing spare parts in case these are not durable enough, I have been riding with this setup for over two months now in extreme cold im confident in their ability to take some abuse. These brackets are meant to be antitheft meaning they won't be easily removable, you will need the original mounting hardware and I recommend using steel zip ties as they are stronger, and more weather resistant compared to plastic ones. I would also recommend adding some sort of material between the clips and your rack if you dont want scuff marks.
Material
I would Highly recommend using a strong and durable PETG or better, do not under any circumstances use PLA it will almost certainly fail as this will likely be exposed to the elements. I personally will be using a PETG.
Print Settings
I would recommend for all of the brackets 100% infill and about 7 walls and 5-6 top/bottom layers. The bottom bracket does not need supports and the top one should only need support in the diamond cavities.
