Description
If there is a problem with extrusion width and esteps you take always 100mm as reference.
Then why are the most calibration just a few 10mm wide?
Material could be maybe one reason and there also exist a “tri-leg” model what imitates the X-Y-Z axis. But if you just need a quick and dirty, material saving and more precise test then printing a 20*20mm cube and abort it after some layers, take this 100*100mm frame and calculate easy your step correction with 100 as a devider ;)
Why difficult if some things can be so easy.
Very useful for estep calibration in X & Y (if this is the most important plane for your prints - or if you are sure that Z is not the issue).
