Enclosure for the Black Magic Probe (v2.3)

This is an enclosure for the Black Magic Probe, a debug probe for ARM Cortex-M and Cortex-A microcontrollers. The Black Magic Probe exists in several hardware versions; this enclosure is for the current version: 2.3.

The cover is removable; it simply uses "friction-fit", but it is effective. There is an optional (wedge-shaped) rim around the debug connector, to protect the shrouds of that debug connector. This rim must be glued onto the top cover. The rim is optional, but I recommend it: the plastic shrouds of the debug connector are quite fragile.

Like my design for the earlier version, this design has an opening for a slide switch. The Black Magic Probe originally does not have a slide switch, but I extended mine with one. In the OpenSCAD design file, this extra opening can be disabled.

Print instructions

For friction-fit, PLA works well. The version pictured here is in Prusament PVB with variable layer height between 0.1 and 0.25 mm. A brim or supports are not needed.
