Description
Although it's been all but been replaced by nylon cable ties, there is still no more elegant way to bundle wires and cables than lacing tape. Lacing is lower profile than cable ties, it is less likely to pinch delicate wires and it leaves no nasty sharp edges to cut insulation or skin.
This is a shuttle that holds the lacing tape, making it easier to tie knots and pass the tape around the harness. The design is based on a pattern I found in an old US Navy training manual.
Implemented in OpenSCAD with the amazing BOSL2 library. Just about every parameter is adjustable in the OpenSCAD configurator.
Should print fine with your choice of material, nozzle diameter and layer height. I printed mine on an MK3S with Revo V6, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height in Atomic Filament PETG.
