Description
This is my idea of an almost vertical stand for the Sony PSVita TV.
Of course making a simple square shape hurts my brain, so here is a very specific irregular shape that's closely related to the PSVita TV itself.
The design itself utilizes gravity to make sure the console tends to stay inside its room instead of sliding around. There is a cavity in the back to accommodate the power plug. There are TWO screw holes just in case you want the stand to be bolted down. The bottom of the stand is all flat, so using adhesive or velcro is possible. Two slots on the back of the stand allows you to thread one or two velcro strips if needed.
I also designed an optional vertical tail fin piece with slots. You can insert it into on of the velcro slots on the base. This is for a very heavy HDMI cable (or even USB/ethernet cables) to attach to.Â
Simply wrap a piece of velcro strip around the HDMI plug, and thread the last section in and out around the slots on the tail fin to firmly attach it to the stand.
The tail fin is made in a shape that's easily hidden behind the console. It's slightly flexible so it will hide better when the cables are tighten to it, it will curve and hide even better.
----------
Print the main body with support. Block out the area around the logo on the front or unnecessary supports might appear. You need to remove the two support pieces under the velcro slots after it's finished printing.
