Hypnotoad

Hypnotoad compels you to like, download and post a make of this model. Hypnotoad wants to take over the world and needs you to print his army!

Included in the files are 4 versions of the model. Reason for this is i first modeled the toad's collar as i would think the nametags would hang naturally. However with my fillament printer they seemed impossibly small to print and would for sure break off if they printed at all.

Models with this collar are marked with SLA.

Therefore i simplified the nametags and “lip” of the collar so it's printable on a FDM printer.

Models with the simplified collar are marked with FDM.

I have no experience with resin printers so i have no idea if this would be printable on resin printers but i kept those models in for those printers.

Then theres 2 types of eyes, the ones with the hypnotic “pupil” in the print and the ones with round eyes. The round eyes are there for if you want to paint the model and want to paint the pupil yourself. I printed the one with the hypno eyes as i'm not sure if i'll paint the model yet.

The ones marked with “round eyes” are meant for painting, the choice is yours.

I printed the FDM hypnotoad model at 0.12 detail with a 0.40 nozzle, infil at 15%. I did use a brim as i had trouble with 1 of the toes curling up messing up my first try. At 0.12 detail i didn't need any supports.

The model should be able to scale up as much as you want but i'd be carefull scaling down as the detail on the collar is already very small.
