Description
While I was running my 3dp business abroad, I had a request for this item to give as a gift. Â You'll see among the pictures the personalized version which also contains a message on the card support. Â It also later turned out to be quite popular on social media, so I now pass this along to you to enjoy and profit from!
I added text to the tooth with Windows 3D Builder via the emboss tool, which maps it nicely to the surface of the tooth. Â You can later deposit modeling clay in the cavities (har har har) or fill the letting with nail polish.
Adding a Custom Message [EXPERIMENTAL]:
The files include a blank plate, upon which you may add your own text via the aforementioned 3D Builder, Tinkercad, or whatever modeling platform you desire. Â In my case, a simple filament change halfway through provided the contrast (1 wall with 0 top/bottom layers - see photo). Later, when printing the card holder, you will need to program a pause/M600 in the print to slide the plate down into the slot before continuing. Â This is at approximately Z = 49.8mm. Â Make sure to park the print head well BEHIND the piece so the X gantry does not get in your way as you insert the plate. Â You may have to take flush cutters to clip edges sticking out. Â I did model in 0.2mm clearance front to back and 0.3mm side to side.
Printing the plate at a 0.3 layer height (or some denominator) is suggested for highest dimensional accuracy and best fit when seating the plate in the base. Â I did this one time and so I consider it very experimental!

Several versions are available, including a utensil cup, a shallow 5cm diameter cup version for small succulents, as well as just the bases if you wanted to personalize in your way. Â I look forward to seeing your makes! Â Enjoy!
Thank you to Marcin Drzymala for the tooth model based on Sven Klausnitzer's human tooth model!
