My passion is in defense engineering. Engineering for me has always been a lifestyle rather than a career. Kinda like that one steampunk protagonist in the movies that engineers their way out of problems. As such, I hold a greater level of respect and regard for those who have “the touch”. Safariland just seems to be one of those companies that hold their design work in regard to passion and pride, and I respect them on that front. I figured i'd celebrate this by making my design work cross over into their design work a bit. This is the first of such posts!

Moonbeam Mounting System is a collection of designs intended to bring complete and absolute modularity to anything you desire! Projects to upgrades, convenience to convention. You can make anything imaginable modular! Mounting and modifying where your item is mounted is a matter of mere seconds and a few movements. MMS got started in highschool competition robotics, used to be able to swap out bot parts in seconds in the event one got damaged. Its as simple as popping a pin, moving things around and you have a completely different setup! The only limiting factor is your imagination. So get yourself some modules.
