Description
This is a screw mount adapter for cameras
It works with c- mount cameras.
The objective is for the little M12 (s-mount)lenses; can be used standalone as C - M12 adapter.
The extra flange allows to attach the assembly to a M42x1 tube. Yes I've posted also T2 (42mm x 0,75)
It is made of two pieces. The camera is rotatable (you can tighten it at the angle you want)
I use it for afocal photography with the microscope and other tricks.
To use it:
1- screw in the M12 lens to "open" the thread
2 - put the flange on
3 - screw in the c-mount camera
4 - fasten the flange to a m42 male screw
The M42 and M12 screws usually come out good; the c-mount instead is a bit delicate and tend to marr if not treated with reverence. No idea why.
Print them it with small layer height (0,1mm) because of the tiny screw threads.
The tolerances are set for PLA. Hope you're lucky with other resins!!
It needs no supports if you orient the pieces correctly.
I've made a few of them, no photos around.
