Description
Pimp your Bisley steel cabinet with a colourful new lock handle and/or cover up a clumsy mistake!
Should work for all cabinets with the pictured horizontal lock mechanism. Manufacturer seems to have only the whole assembly as a (fairly expensive) spare part. Works fine for me, but there's a ton of play in the whole door mechanism, so your mileage may vary.
Disassembly required (similar to what you would have to do to replace the whole thing). Take care not to break the small clips on the long sides. I made a drop-in replacement for those, in case one does break, but didn't bother too much to make it perfect. It just needs to be jammed in there anyway and fit depends on how the old one broke off.
For the actual handle, I recommend reusing the shorter metal axis by cutting off the uglier end and sliding it into the printed part from the top, so it won't fall out. Alternatively, you can print the handle with a new axis.
Print standing on the smallest side for maximum strength.
