Description
Did you know 27 million business cards are printed every day - and 88% of those are thrown out within a week? That's 8 BILLION cards thrown out annually, or about 8,000,000 kg of waste.
Business cards are still an essential part of getting customers and making connections, but what if there was a way to reduce your dependence on them? These business card holders do that by adding NFC tags to the mix. Just program your tags to point to your LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, or website, or even to download a virtual business card! Not only does this save a bit of paper, but it creates a digital connection to your customer or contact that's more reliable.
Both desktop and pocket-sized card holders are included, and the Fusion 360 files include multiple different logos to customize the models for your needs.
These models are printed using two colors in the first layer only; if using the included STL files, make sure to 1) split the STL into different objects in your slicer to separate out the logo elements and 2) use .2mm layer height. The included gcode files area already set up this way. To print:
Note: If customizing in Fusion, use the document navigator to unhide the logos you want and hide those you don't want, then use the “Combine” tool to cut the logo out of the body. Make sure to click “Keep tools” so that the logos aren't deleted as part of the combine operation. Then you can export your STL file, which will contain multiple objects for both the logos and the body. You can easily split these apart in Prusa slicer.
